If it’s golden sands you’re seeking, Malia Beach is only a short drive away from the resort, offering everything from sun loungers and beach bars to water sports. There’s no shortage of idyllic shores along this stretch of coast if you fancy exploring some different spots; you could stop by Potamos Beach on your way to the Malia Palace Archaeological Site, a ruined Minoan palace just a short drive from your hotel. It makes the UNESCO World Heritage List along with the more well-known palace at Knossos, another worthwhile stop if you’re travelling into Heraklion for some bigger city excitements.
