The Mandala Hotel is located in Potsdamer Platz, an area that was once divided by the Berlin Wall. As such, you're right on the border with what used to be both East and West Berlin. The Holocaust Memorial is nearby, and Checkpoint Charlie is a short journey away by public transport. You're also within walking distance of several museums, including the Gemäldegalerie and Neue Nationalgalerie, as well as the iconic Brandenberger Tor. 

The area itself is known for its excellent shopping, with a large shopping centre and a plethora of restaurants and bars. Further afield, don’t miss the famous sights such as the East Side Gallery and the Reichstag Building. Party animals should head to the techno clubs and basement bars of Friedrichshain.
