Elite Savoy, Sweden

Property details

Chic, central stay near the water in the hip Swedish city of Malmö, close to all the main attractions - includes breakfast
  • Historic Swedish surrounds: Situated at the heart of the Gamla Staden, the historic Elite Savoy enjoys an ideal spot for discovering this undeniably pretty ‘City of Parks’. Behind the 14th-century façade you’ll be wowed by the striking design-led interiors that strike the perfect balance between classic and modern - in fact, the hotel is split between two estates, the main building and Lilla Hotellet.

  • Traditional style: Your hotel blends hints of its history with sleek, modern décor to create enchanting interiors. Expect glossy lacquered wood and chequered floors alongside trendy artworks and verdant potted palms, as well as antique-style furnishings with a modern twist and sophisticated guest rooms in slate grey.

  • Pre- and post-sightseeing eats: You can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the main building and a fine dining experience in the historic Savoy Restaurant, while the gastro-style Bishops Arms will keep you well-watered with its 280-strong list of beers and single malts (also housed in the main building).

How to get there

Location and what's nearby

static map

Norra Vallgatan 62, 211 22 Malmö, Sweden

Overlooking the banks of the Suellshamnen, Elite Savoy is perfectly poised for exploring the delights of Malmö. It's just a stone's throw from the Gamla Staden, the city's adorable Old Town, which looks more Bavarian than Scandi with its cobblestone streets and fairy-tale half-timbered buildings. The city is so compact that all of the major attractions are accessible on foot, but nearby highlights include the Modern Art Museum, sprawling Kungsparken and the innovative and interactive Teknikens och Sjöfartens hus (Science and Maritime Museum). The hotel is well placed for exploring Copenhagen just over the water, too, just a short walk for the train station that offers frequent services over the Oresund Bridge.
Five-star booking service? You bet.
