A 13-night adventure to the USA, taking in Washington, Atlantic City and New York before a week’s luxury cruise to beautiful Bermuda - including flights

You’ll begin this USA adventure in Washington, with a two-night stay at Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria Old Town Area South. Your hotel is set just a few minutes from Alexandria’s historic Old Town and offers easy links to the city’s major attractions. Take in some of Washington D.C.’s greats with a visit to the Arlington National Cemetery (John F Kennedy and his brother, Robert, lay in rest here) and the Lincoln Memorial, and make photo stops at the iconic Capitol Hill and the White House.

Next, you’ll head to the railroads to transfer to Atlantic City, New Jersey, for two nights at Caesars Atlantic City. At this east-coast echo of the decadence of Las Vegas set on the dazzling coast, you’ll want for nothing with a plethora of eating, drinking and entertainment options on site, keeping you busy both day and night. When you've had your fill, you'll hit the railroads again, taking an Amtrak to Queens for a two-night stay in Long Island City.

Queens is the new Brooklyn (which was once, you may remember, the new Manhattan) and there’s plenty to do in this bustling New York borough; from tasting your way through Astoria’s Greek restaurants to touring the 1964 World’s Fair site in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. In-the-know locals flock to MoMA PS1 on the regular for contemporary exhibitions and the popular summer Warm Up parties, as well as to Long Island City, for one of the highest concentrations of galleries and art institutions in all of NYC.

Then, you’ll board the Carnival Liberty for a seven-night cruise to balmy Bermuda. You’ll spend your first two days on board at sea, affording you plenty of time to explore the ship’s many attractions, such as its Lido, water park, Cloud 9 spa and more. You’ll dock at King’s Wharf on Bermuda’s western tip for two nights, over which time you can head ashore to visit the Bermuda Maritime Museum, go shopping, play golf, or snorkel in The Snorkel Park. After one more day at sea you’ll disembark the Carnival Liberty to catch your flight home.
