A 13-night adventure through North America, with Chicago and Seattle stays, before a luxe all-inclusive Alaska cruise - including Amtrak train transfer and all travel
Taking you from hip Chicago, the low-key cultural melting pot on the shores of Lake Michigan, to Seattle, the fast-paced metropolis of micro businesses before an epic cruise to the national parks and gigantic glaciers of beautiful Alaska, this is an epic bucket-list trip worth ticking off.
You'll start in the mighty pretty Windy City with a two-night stay at the Hotel Lincoln, Chicago. From here, you can easily explore the city's top attractions, like Millennium Square, the Art Institute Chicago and Macy's on State Street. After some time soaking up the culture, you'll board an Amtrak train for a two-night journey westwards across the States, to reach the iconic skyline of Seattle. You'll spend your next two nights here, giving you just enough time to explore before boarding Celebrity Solstice for a seven-night cruise of Alaska.
From the luxurious interiors and top-notch service of this celebrated cruise ship, you'll sail between some of Alaska's best bits. Highlights include docking in the capital of Juneau, where you can take a glacial dog sled adventure, and spending some time in Skagway, home to an historic railway and a rich gold rush history. Various shore excursions are available to book whilst on board, which could see you sailing by catamaran through the Kenai Fjords, touring a winery and distillery in British Colombia, or taking a zodiac adventure to spot transient orcas, humpback whales, seals and sea lions.
