A cosy hotel stay in a historic Cambridgeshire market-town - with a suite option, a home-cooked full English breakfast and dinner options included

  • With its earliest mention dating back to 1461, The Rose and Crown Hotel has history by the handful and bags of old-world charm to go with it. Having had many uses over its nearly 600 years, from a coaching inn to a sailor's bar, this characterful hideaway has been gracefully brought into the 21st century.

  • The Rose and Crown puts you at your ease the moment you step through the door; relax with a glass of fine wine in the library, or take a classic afternoon tea in the pretty courtyard (possibly the oldest part of the property). Enjoy a modern take on traditional English fare in the Swan Restaurant, with bangers and mash or a black pudding stack.

  • Bed down in individually designed rooms brimming with period character and contemporary finishes. Superior rooms are spacious with luxurious king-sized beds (some come with four-poster beds), while the Octavia suite has a free-standing bathtub, walk in shower and boasts views of the historic courtyard.
