Wander the beautiful Abbey House Gardens and be sure to check out the 15th-century Market Cross. The town makes a great base to explore the glorious Cotswolds, packed with picture-postcard villages set amid scenic countryside.

Six miles away is Westonbirt, The National Arboretum, while Chippenham is also only a short drive away. The historical spa town of Bath is makes a perfect day trip, with its natural hot spring baths, impressive cathedral and great shopping.
