The Maidstone

East Hampton, New York

Property details

A beautifully renovated Hamptons favourite, within walking distance one of the area's most popular beaches
You'll find no shortage of East Hampton charm at The Maidstone, a friendly boutique hotel overlooking the village’s lovely historic district, beloved among chic out-of-towners and locals alike. Situated in a Greek Revival structure that traces its roots back to the 17th century, the freshly revamped property first established a reputation as The Maidstone Arms in the mid-1920s, soon becoming a go-to destination for the area’s glamorous summer crowd, and over the years, the property has continued its historic tradition of world-class hospitality.

Today, the hotel is known for its renowned art collection, commitment to eco-friendly practices, 19 individually designed rooms and the updated restaurant, where you'll find a menu of unexpected and contemporary dishes. Just a short stroll from the scenic sands of East Hampton’s Main Beach, it's also within easy reach of the village centre, which you can explore atop one of the hotel’s loaner Kronan bicycles.
