A great place for a UK coastal getaway, The Lugger Hotel is a scenic spot tucked into the cove and harbour of Portloe – an idyllic fishing village in south Cornwall. The hotel boasts a rich history, having formerly been a 17th-century inn and haunt of local smugglers, and the white buildings perched on the rugged coast make for a picturesque setting next to the scattering of fishing boats.
Meander along the scenic coastline, taking in the fresh air and fantastic sea views, and return to feast on lobster and fine wine at the hotel's two AA Rosette-awarded restaurant. There's also a treatment room where you can indulge in a range of rejuvenating spa therapies and truly unwind.
The hotel is situated near the beach and close to Caerhays Castle and Porthluney Cove. Nearby you'll find The Eden Project, The National Maritime Museum and Tate St Ives. The Lugger Hotel suitably bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
