Location and what's nearby

static map

Pelekas, Glyfada 491 00, Corfu, Greece

Glyfada, on Corfu’s western coast, is a peaceful resort with a long golden beach surrounded by lush vegetation and high cliffs. The laid-back atmosphere is evident: you’ll find plenty of classic tavernas and seafood restaurants here, but for livelier nights you’ll have to travel to Corfu’s capital, Kerkyra, around half an hour away.

The main attraction is, of course, Glyfada beach; not only are the soft sands a draw for tourists and locals alike, but there’s a wealth of water sports available for those of all ages. Snorkeling, kayaking, scuba-diving and more is on offer, and when you’re in need of refreshment, the beach bars are on hand with light bites and cocktails to see you through.
