Llangoed Hall is situated just off the A470 in the centre of Wales, in the Wye Valley, and is most easily accessed by car. It is roughly four and a half hours by car from London, three and a half hours from Manchester and two and a half hours from Birmingham.

Please note that the dining room operates a dress code: gentlemen are asked to wear a long-sleeved shirt and long trousers, and all are asked to avoid wearing jeans, polo shirts or training shoes.

You're spoiled for choice with ways to explore the Wye Valley and Black Mountains, with cycling, canoeing, off-road driving and quad biking, to name just a few, available nearby. 

For a more leisurely way to delve into the surrounding countryside, venture out walking or mountain biking. The historic town of Hay-on-Wye is less than 20 minutes away by car if you fancy perusing its bookshops, or you can visit Hay Castle, originally built in the late-11th century.
