Day 1: UK - Delhi

Fly from the UK to Delhi, arriving in this chaotic city in the afternoon. You’ll be met by your guide, then check in to your hotel before spending the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2: Delhi


Start off your Indian adventure with a tour of Delhi’s two sides, driving past the Red Fort, then exploring Chandni Chowk by rickshaw. You’ll visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, and Jama Masjid in the morning, then in the afternoon, continue on to New Delhi to admire the Presidential Palace, the India Gate and Qutub Minar, one of the city’s most impressive minarets. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Delhi - Varanasi

Today you’ll transfer to the airport for a flight to Varanasi, India’s spiritual centre. On arrival, transfer to your hotel, then visit Sarnath, where Buddha first spoke to his followers in Deer Park. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Varanasi

Kick off your spiritual experience with a float along the River Ganges and a tranquil private Yoga session. After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Varanasi, which will include the Bharat Mata Temples, the Durga Temple, and the Vishwanath Golden Temple. Head back to your hotel to rest, or carry on exploring, before witnessing a magical ritual this evening; the Ganga Aarti. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Varanasi - Khajuraho


After breakfast and a morning at leisure, head back to the airport for your flight to Khajuraho. After arriving and settling in, you’ll go on a temple-hopping tour around both the west and east of the city. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Khajuraho - Orchha - Jhansi - Agra

Today you’ll be travelling to Agra, with several stops along the way. Departing Khajuraho by car, you’ll visit the Orchha Fort and Jehangir Mahal en route to Jhansi train station, where you’ll board a train to Agra. You’ll arrive in Agra about three hours later, then transfer to your hotel to check in and relax. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Agra - Jaipur

You’ll have an early start today for an incredible sunrise experience at the Taj Mahal. Watch sun peek behind this incredible architectural feat, a wonder of the world and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then leave for Jaipur by road, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri en route. You’ll arrive in Jaipur in the evening, then have the rest of the day at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Jaipur

Spend your morning exploring the Amber Fort by jeep, with a stop at Hawa Mahal, the palace of the Winds, on the way. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Jaipur, visiting Jai Singh’s Observatory and the City Palace, home to wonderful Rajput and Moghul paintings.

Day 9: Jaipur - Delhi

After breakfast, you’ll drive back to Delhi, roughly a five hour and 30-minute drive. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 10: Delhi

Head back to the airport in the morning for your flight back to the UK. (Meals: breakfast)
