An unforgettable South Africa and Zimbabwe adventure with an all-inclusive Mauritius beach escape – includes Kruger, Cape Town and Victoria Falls experiences plus all travel and optional excursions
On this incredible adventure your journey starts in Johannesburg, Africa’s biggest city and a city reborn after the trouble of its past. You’ll kick off this eye-popping Southern African getaway with one night at the stylish Hallmark House, right in the sprawling skyscraper-filled city centre. Start exploring right away, either on your own or with an optional excursion to Soweto, a township of Jo’burg once home to Nelson Mandela, or Pretoria, full of historical sites and old architecture.
Moving on, it’s time to head to Kruger National Park, where you’ll stay at La Lechere Guest House. You’ll enjoy game viewings galore here in the Southern Circle, and a chance to spot rhinos, lions and all manner of other species in the wild.
Next up is South Africa’s capital, the beautiful coastal city of Cape Town, where your home for the next few days is The Onyx. You’ll spend your first day here driving along the Cape Peninsula, watching penguins waddle along the beach and appreciating the spectacular views. In the coming days, you’ll have time to explore alone, or take some optional excursions, like a hike up Table Mountain, a safari day, a wine tasting tour or, if you’re brave enough, cage diving with sharks.
After Cape Town, it's onwards to Shearwater Explorers Village, a stone’s throw from Wonder of the World, Victoria Falls – the largest waterfall on earth. Spend your time experiencing the incredible, towering ‘Smoke That Thunders’ and, if you wish, cruise along the Zambezi River to visit Chobe National Park in Botswana.
After all that adventure, it’s time to relax, unwind and switch off in the island paradise of Mauritius, at the all-inclusive Le Meridien. The hotel is set on 1,000 metres of beach and has a huge pool surrounded by dotted palms. Lie poolside or on the beach to your heart’s content, and if you fancy exploring the idyllic island, choose from a list of optional excursions. After five nights in paradise, you’ll board your flight back home feeling refreshed and relaxed.
