Day 1: Johannesburg
Arrive in Johannesburg, a rapidly growing city and urban jungle in the vibrant heart of South Africa. Check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day seeing the sights, such as the Nizamiya Mosque, Apartheid Museum and Liliesleaf Farm.
Day 2: Johannesburg - Kruger
After having the morning to see the final sights of Johannesburg, you’ll transfer over to Kruger in the afternoon. Home to some of the most iconic wildlife in South Africa, you’ll spend time over the next few days trying to spot the Big Five on various games drives. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)
Day 3: Kruger
Take an early safari tour with breakfast on the go. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a thrilling games drive through Kruger National Park. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)
Day 4: Kruger - Johannesburg
Transfer back to Johannesburg, where you'll spend the rest of the day at leisure. (Meals: breakfast) Day 5: Johannesburg - Cape Town
Transfer to Cape Town, where you'll check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Next up is cosmopolitan Cape Town, which won the title of World Design Capital in 2014. Spend the day losing yourself in the melting pot of culture sitting beneath the dramatic hillside. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 6: Cape Town
Take a half-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope and the Cape Peninsula, considered one of the most sensational drives in the world. Pass by Houts Bay, Noordhoek Beach, Boulders Penguin Colony and the Cape Point Nature Reserve, plus a visit to charming Simon's Town. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 7: Cape Town
At leisure in Cape Town, or why not opt to hike up Table Mountain with a tour guide. The hike is six kilometres long and takes around three-and-a-half hours (£63 per person). (Meals: breakfast)
Day 8: Cape Town
At leisure in Cape Town. Optional excursion to the Cape Winelands (£57 per person).
Day 9: Cape Town - Mauritius
You’ll jetset off to Mauritius, the place that Mark Twain once wrote “Mauritius was made first and then heaven, heaven being copied after Mauritius”. Upon arrival to this heavenly paradise, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day taking in the soft sands and sparkling waters. (Meals: breakfast, then all-inclusive)
Days 10-12: Mauritius
Your next few days will be spent in all-inclusive luxe surrounded by swaying palms and the turquoise sea: why not visit a traditional market and soak up local Mauritian culture, or try a rum tasting and learn about the trade history of the island. You’ll also have the chance to go on optional excursions, such as one to Port Louis and the North (£94 per person), or the Mystic South Tour (£99 per person). (Meals: all-inclusive)
Day 13: Mauritius
You’ll journey to the airport for your flight back to the UK. (Meals: breakfast)

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).
