Mali Lošinj

Embody Croatian island glamour at a legendary five-star beach hotel on Lošinj island after mainland wine tasting in Motovun and a nearby working farm visit - includes car hire, half board, a winery tour with tasting, bike hire in Lošinj, flights and more

Motovun

Set in the countryside hills, the small walled town of Motovun was once home to the ancient fortresses of the Celtics and Illyrians, and today offers pretty cobble-stoned streets and fantastic views from its lofty vantage point. You'll tour your wine estate hotel and sip the fruits of its work in progress during your stay. There's also a visit to the family-run working farm of Agroturizam Tončić in Zrenj, around half an hour north up in the hills, where you'll dine leisurely on homegrown produce and relax in the pool and sauna.

Lošinj

The islands off Croatia are noted for their natural beauty, and the isle of Lošinj is no exception. You'll jump in your hire car, and make your way 145 kilometres south (ferry included) or 162 kilometres around the mainland to this long, svelte island in the Adriatic Sea. You'll be based in the middle of the isle on the beautiful Cikat Bay peninsula, surrounded by an ancient pine forest and a few elegant Belle Epoque villas that hark back to the island’s 19th-century heyday. You'll be close to the picturesque town of Mali Lošinj, with its multi-coloured buildings and bustling harbour imploring plenty of photos. You can flop on Cikat and Veli Žal beaches or go hiking in Cikat Forest Park. Alternatively, enjoy some snorkelling and swimming just offshore.
