Riad Cocoon

Marrakech, Morocco

Property details

A stay at a music-themed riad in Marrakech, with continental breakfast, plus a traditional welcome
Sun, spices and souks are the order of the day in Morocco’s beating heart: Marrakech. As its name suggests, Riad Cocoon is a sanctuary away from the snake charmers and thronging crowds of the Medina.

Personalised playlists will create unique memories in the individually styled guest rooms, as well as in the library, on the panoramic terrace and in the pool. A traditional hammam, authentic, freshly-made Moroccan cuisine and excursions to Essaouira and the Atlas Mountains also hit all the right notes.

Riad Cocoon has earned itself a coveted TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the last four years.

Good to know

The riad charges a daily accommodation tax of €2.50 per person, to be paid locally.
Rooms

There is a theme at Riad Cocoon and it’s got rather a lot to do with music. Don’t worry, we’re not talking Ringo, John, Paul and George bedspreads, the décor here is elegant – think traditional architecture, cast iron and antique furniture, comfortable beds, statement throws and armchairs. It’s the soundtrack where the theme comes in, with each room having a personal iPod docking station and Cocoon playlist to enjoy. The Nirvana suite has its own terrace you can chill-out on and enjoy the views.

- En-suite bathroom with shower
- Safety deposit box

Dining

Cook Khadija educates guests on Moroccan cuisine with the very best naturally grown ingredients from the Ourika Valley, served in colourful tagines on the terrace. Riad Cocoon offers an array of holistic wellbeing experiences. Scrub up with a traditional hammam or unwind with a massage.

Location
