Experience Goa with stays at three charming boutique hotels, including a three-course set dinner, a high tea experience, transfers and more

Moira

The village of Moira is a tiny settlement that sits in the North Goa District. Known primarily for its banana plantations, the village remains mostly untouched by tourism. A morning stroll through the neighbourhood's banana plantations and a visit to the nearby market are excellent ways to discover an authentic slice of Goan living. Drive south towards the coast and you can spend an afternoon on the warm sands of Sinquerim Beach or explore the coastal Aguada Fort and take in the views from its central lighthouse.

Velha Goa

Goa Velha, also known as 'Old Goa' is a historical enclave located just a bit north of the village of Carambolim, also in the North Goa District. A short 20-minute walk from the resort will take you to the town's centre where you can explore local landmarks like Se Cathedral, built in the 16th-century by the Portuguese. There's plenty more for the history buffs to explore, including the towering ruins of the Saint Augustine Tower and the Chapel of Saint Francis Xavier. The town centre is also home to a handful of small restaurants and cafes that serve up excellent local fare.

Cuelim

The most coastal location of the three, the small village of Cuelim is located just a seven-minute drive from Valsao and Cansaulim beaches - both of which are quiet and uncrowded. Closer to the village's centre, you'll find Saint Thomas' Church along with several local restaurants specialising in Goan seafood dishes. Nearer to the hotel, you can take a short walk up a path that leads to the hilltop Three King's Chapel - a 350 year old church with a stories history. The hilltop also offers excellent views of the surrounding countryside.
