As you approach the road to Applecross, a big sign warns of the perils you\u2019ll face on this snaking mountain pass. It\u2019s gradient climbs dramatically, with snake-like hairpins and turns that traverse a path of unforgettable panorama over Skye. One of the finest roads in Britain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This seaside retreat, remote and \u2013 as you are by now aware \u2013 a challenge to get to, provides a warm welcome to those that have braved the Bealach na B\u00e0.
