How to get there

Llangoed Hall is situated in the centre of Wales, on the site of the former Welsh Parliament, with breathtaking views of the Black Mountains. A place of tranquillity, the hotel is surrounded by woodlands and fields. Nestled in the Wye Valley, it lies 12 miles from the popular market town of Brecon and a 20-minute drive from Hay-on-Wye, another pretty market town. It will take roughly four and a half hours to reach the hotel by car from London, three and a half hours from Manchester and two and a half from Birmingham.

Please note that the dining room operates a dress code: gentlemen are asked to wear a long-sleeved shirt and long trousers, and all are asked to avoid wearing jeans, polo shirts or training shoes.

The historic town of Hay-on-Wye is less than 20 minutes away by car if you fancy perusing its bookshops, or exploring Hay Castle, originally built in the late-11th century.
