A mesmerising four-stop escape in Southeast Asia's sleekest cities, from Vietnam to Malaysia and Thailand - with plush hotel stays, flights and private transfers included

Ho Chi Minh City

Your South East Asian adventure starts in Vietnam’s largest city, a fascinating metropolis full of character, fascinating architecture, fabulous food and friendly locals. Visit the War Remnants Museum, or head out of the city to the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the effects of the Vietnam War and the lives of the Viet Cong. The city is also full of impressively grand pagodas, designed in an incredibly ornate Chinese style, and lovely French-colonial houses. When you’ve had your fill of sights, head to some of the outer districts to sample real Vietnamese street food - best enjoyed sat roadside on a stool.

You'll leave tantalising Vietnam behind and jet down to the plush city-state of Singapore for three days, hanging seductively off the southernmost tip of Malaysia. Sashay into five-star splendour at Royal Plaza on Scotts, planted conveniently close to Orchard Road MRT and right next to Pacific Plaza shopping centre and its clutch of Michelin-starred restaurants. To soak up the city’s energy visit the key landmarks in the area to learn a little about Singapore’s history.

Kuala Lumpur

Your next stop on this Southeast Asian escape in captivating Kuala Lumpur. Take in the National Monument, the King’s Palace with its blend of rich Islamic and traditional Malay architecture, and the National Museum and Independence Square for an insight into the city’s history. The National Mosque is a must-visit, crowned with a shimmering dome and set in impressive gardens. Petronas Twin Towers is a 21st-century icon of the city and for other modern-day delights, the city’s many expansive shopping malls are the heart of KL life.

Yet another bustling city, Bangkok has so much to keep you occupied during your three-night stay. If you’re after more markets, look no further than Chatuchak for clothes, or Wang Lang for true Thai street food. The highlights of the city are undoubtedly the temples - from Wat Arun, otherwise known as the Dawn Temple, with its colourful stupas, to Wat Pho and its resident reclining Buddha, there’s enough spiritualism here to keep you occupied for weeks.
