Day 1: UK - Delhi
Arrive in Delhi after a flight from the UK, and enjoy a traditional welcome before transferring to your hotel to settle in. Spend the remains of your day getting acquainted with the city. (Meals: none)
Day 2: Delhi
After breakfast, embark on a full-day city tour of both Old and New Delhi, taking in Emperor Shahjahan’s impressive Red Fort and Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Weave through bustling Chandi Chowk, then visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple and the Lotus Temple at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
Today you’ll depart by road for Jaipur, and check into your hotel on arrival. This ‘Pink City’ has plenty to admire, so start off as soon as you arrive. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 4: Jaipur
Another city tour is on the cards today, and you’ll get to see the world-famous Amber Fort in the morning, then Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of the Winds in the afternoon. You’ll also stop by the City Palace, which impresses endlessly with its ornate walls, and Jantar Mantar, the world’s largest marble observatory. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 5: Jaipur - Agra
Journey towards Agra today, heading for the world-wonder that everyone comes to India to see. En route, you’ll stop at the Abhaneri Caves and drive past Fatehpur Sikri. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 6: Agra - Delhi
Rise early today for a morning visit to the wondrous Taj Mahal, a monument of love finished in 1630 after 22 years of non-stop construction - this truly is a sight to behold. You’ll move on to visit the Agra Fort and its iconic white marble, then head back to Delhi, ready for the second leg of your trip. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 7: Delhi - Kathmandu
After a night’s sleep in Delhi, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nepal’s stunning and spiritual capital, Kathmandu. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted and garlanded, then transferred to your hotel. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 8: Kathmandu
After your first Nepalese breakfast, head out to explore the city on a guided tour. You’ll visit some of the city’s stunning stupas, and central Kathmandu Durbar Square. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 9: Kathmandu - Pokhara
Today its time to leave the capital and head into the mountains - to Pokhara, famous for its lakes and Himalayan views. You’ll see Annapurna’s soaring peak as you settle in and stroll around the lake. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)
Day 10: Pokhara - Chitwan
Take a final look at the lakes this morning before you continue to Chitwan, home of Nepal’s first National Park. This evening, experience a Tharu Cultural Show with dinner (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Day 11: Chitwan - Nagarkot
Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to endangered species like Bengal tigers, rhinoceros, leopards, sloths, monkeys and so much more, and hopefully, you'll get a glimpse of a few of these species today. You’ll canoe on the river, visit a local village and take a nature walk, then transfer to Nagarkot for another nature walk. (Meals: breakfast)
Day 12: Nagarkot - Kathmandu - UK
Rise early this morning for sunrise, and take a few moments to absorb the awe-inspiring mountain views, all the way out to Everest in the east. Check out of your hotel and transfer back to Kathmandu for your flight home. (Meals: breakfast)
