A highly scenic Namibian adventure, with a game drive in famous Etosha National Park, plus nature and cultural tours - includes breakfast, select dinners, excursions and travel

Day 1: UK – Night on board

Check into your flight and spend the night on board.

Day 2: Windhoek – Otjiwarongo

Touching down in Windhoek, you'll meet your expert guide and drive to the beautiful Otjiwarongo countryside. Depending on your arrival time, you'll visit a local craft market before spending the afternoon at leisure at your hotel. Free time here can be spent visiting the nearby cheetah conservation centre and Waterberg Plateau.

Day 3: Otjiwarongo – Etosha National Park

Today, you’ll head to Etosha to visit one of the country’s most famous national parks, home to more than 114 mammal species and 340 varieties of birds. It's not all game drives here though - when you're not getting your David Attenborough on, take a dip in your lodge's pool, surrounded by seringa trees and the natural bush. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Etosha National Park

Today, you’ll head out on a once-in-a-lifetime, full-day game drive, where you'll have the chance to take in the stunning array of Etosha wildlife and admire the changing landscapes across the savannah. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Etosha National Park – Twyfelfontein

Next up, you'll head to iconic Damaraland; a wild region characterised by dramatic landscapes, prehistoric rock art and desert-adapted elephants. En route, you'll discover the ancient Himba tribe and the famous Petrified Forest, before arriving at the spectacular Twyfelfontein Rock, home to the largest collection of historic rock engravings in Africa. You’ll spend the night at a luxury tented camp, perfect for stargazing. (Meals: breakfast and dinner)

Day 6: Twyfelfontein – Swakopmund

Today, you'll set off for Swakopmund, an idyllic coastal city with Instagram-worthy colourful buildings, beautiful sandy beaches and incredible seafood. On your way, you’ll stop off at Uis, where you'll take in spectacular views of the Brandberg Mountain, the highest peak in Namibia. Spend the afternoon at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Swakopmund

Spend today at leisure, taking in all that Skakopmund has to offer; highlights include everything from dolphin and seal spotting boat cruises on Walbis Bay to helicopter rides and quad biking over the sand dunes. All optional excursions can be arranged for a supplement. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Swakopmund – Sesriem

Today, you'll venture to the cavernous Sesriem Canyon, a journey as spectacular as the final destination itself. You'll discover the beautiful Kuiseb Pass river, before spending time at leisure in Sesrium to explore the surrounding mountain ranges, desert and vast landscapes. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: Sesriem – Sossusvlei – Sesriem

They say the early bird catches the worm, and today you'll do just that. Setting off before sunrise, you'll head to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei at the most magical time of day to take in the incredible colours of the Namib, one of the oldest deserts in the world with the highest sand dunes on the planet. In the afternoon, you’ll head to the epic Sesriem Canyon. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 10: Sesriem – Windhoek

You’ll spend the morning at leisure before transferring back to lively Windhoek for your final night. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 11: Windhoek – Night on board
