Day 1: UK - Delhi

Fly from the UK, setting off towards the captivating country of India. You’ll spend a night on board. (Meals: none)

Day 2: Delhi

Land in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. This fascinating, frenetic city is the centre of Rajasthan’s culture and provides new, exciting experiences around every corner. (Meals: none)

Day 3: Delhi

Take a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi today. Drive past the Red Fort (closed on Mondays) and take a rickshaw ride through the lanes of Chandni Chowk, drive past Kotla Firoze Shah, visit Raj Ghat, drive past the Presidential Palace and the India Gate. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Delhi - Jaipur

Today you’ll make moves towards Jaipur, known as the pink city thanks to its many rose-hued sandstone buildings. On arrival, spend the rest of your day starting to explore at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Jaipur

Take a half-day excursion to Amber Fort, then, in the afternoon, take a city tour of Jaipur, including Jai Singh’s observatory, the largest marble observatory in the world, and the enchanting City Palace. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

Leave Jaipur this morning and visit Fatehpur Sikri, an incredible ghost town, en route to Agra, where you’ll visit India’s most iconic sight - the Taj Mahal. Drink in the sight of this unforgettable world wonder, the world’s biggest symbol of love. Stay here to watch the sunset, then head to your hotel for the evening. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Agra - Bharatpur - Sawai Madhopur - Ranthambore

You’ll start today off by visiting another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Agra Fort. Afterwards, transfer to the train station - an important experience in India - to board the Kota Jan Shatabdi train bound for Ranthambore. Enjoy dinner on arrival before you settle in for the night. (Meals: breakfast, dinner)

Day 8: Ranthambore

After breakfast today you’ll set off for a safari in Ranthambore National Park, well known for its tigers, leopards and crocodiles. Enjoy lunch on the move, then continue exploring in the afternoon. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 9: Ranthambore - Delhi

Transfer to Sawai Madhopur Railway Station, where you’ll board the train back to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Delhi and spend the rest of the day exploring as you please. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 10: Delhi - UK

Transfer to the airport to catch your flight home. (Meals: breakfast; time-dependent)
