Pompeii and Vesuvius
Standard Double balcony room with side sea view
Head to the Amalfi Coast for sea views in one of its most picturesque towns, Maiori - includes breakfast, all travel and an optional excursion to Pompeii and Vesuvius
- Maiori has been a popular resort as far back as Roman times, and Hotel Pietra di Luna certainly makes a modern, Art Deco-style statement. Standing proudly near the town centre, it comes with sweeping views across the bay, which has an imposing Norman tower and castle standing guard at either end.
- Luxuriate in the hotel’s pleasant pool, enjoy a session in the sauna or cross the road to the private section of soft sandy beach, where you can bask on loungers under the Italian sun. Much loved by previous guests, the hotel has earned a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence.
- All this makes an ideal base from which to embark upon an optional excursion to Pompeii and Vesuvius, a true bucket-list experience. Marvel at the wonderfully preserved site of Pompeii, where excavated ruins of streets and houses have been frozen in time for over 2,000 years.
- Swimming pool (open between April and October)
- Private beach
- TV room
