Day 1: Bangkok

Kick-starting your journey in Thailand's vibrant capital city, make your way around its best sights, from Wat Arun and the Grand Palace to the floating market at Damnoen Saduak and the ever-evolving Riverside. Check in to your hotel and start exploring.

Day 2: Bangkok

Spend the day exploring the fascinating street markets, ancient temples and dizzying shopping malls of Bangkok’s streets at leisure. Head to Kao San road for its buzzing nightlife, if you fancy dancing the night away. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Bangkok

You have one more day in this futuristic city to explore: why not opt to take a half-day bicycle tour of the city (chargeable)? (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Bangkok - Siem Reap

Fly to Siem Reap where, upon landing, you’ll meet your guide and transfer to your hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Siem Reap

Today, you'll set out on a visit to the spectacular Angkor Wat Complex and its most significant temples, including Angkor Thom, Preah Khan Temple, Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei and Angkor Wat temple itself – the perfect location for catching the sunset. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Siem Reap

Spend the day here at leisure. Why not explore Tonle Sap lake, where you could get to know local floating villages and fishing life on an optional tour. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: Siem Reap - Hanoi

You’ll have the morning at leisure before heading to the airport for your flight to Hanoi, where you will transfer to your hotel. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Hanoi

Visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum and Tran Quoc Pagoda, followed by an afternoon cyclo ride around the streets of the vibrant Old Quarter. Stop at Hoan Kiem lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple to enjoy a traditional water puppet show. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: Hanoi - Halong Bay

After breakfast, take a road transfer to Halong Bay and board a traditional junk boat. Take lunch on board as you sail past islets en route to the Surprise Cave. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board. (Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 10: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoi An

Take brunch on board as you cruise en route back to Ha Long port. Disembark and transfer to Hanoi and Noi Bai airport for your flight to Danang. On arrival, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay in Hoi An. (Meals: brunch)

Day 11: Hoi An

Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, before heading on an afternoon guided walk around the town of Hoi An, where you’ll stop at a 400 year-old Japanese Bridge and an incredible 300 year-old Chinese Temple. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 12: Hoi An - Hue

You’ll be at leisure in Hoi An until check-out, followed by a scenic afternoon transfer to Hue. Stop en-route at Lang Co Beach and the Hain Van Pass for a panoramic photo opportunity and continue on to your hotel to check in. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 13: Hue

Take a full-day tour and visit the home of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors, the Imperial City and the Royal Citadel. Continue on by boat to the Thien Mu Pagoda to discover the tombs of King Minh Mang and King Khai Dinh. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 14: Hue - Ho Chi Minh

You’ll fly to Ho Chi Minh City and meet your guide to visit the moving War Remnants Museum. Continue on to the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City

Spend the day at leisure in Ho Chi Minh City or opt to take an excursion to the Mekong Delta (chargeable). (Meals: breakfast)


Day 16: Ho Chi Minh City - UK

Spend the morning at leisure before transferring to the airport for your flight back to the UK. (Meals: breakfast)

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).
