Vancouver

Take in Canada's charms, from Vancouver’s hip city centre to the dramatic vistas of the Canadian Rockies - includes flights, a Rocky Mountaineer train trip, and optional extras

Banff to Vancouver itinerary: Calgary - Banff - Kamloops - Vancouver

Calgary

This eclectic city merges modern living with old traditions. Nicknamed "Cowtown", it comes to life each July with the Calgary Stampede. Head to Calgary Tower for brilliant vistas over the city, take in art and local history at the Glenbow Museum or visit Calgary Zoo to see its animals and interesting dinosaur displays.

Banff

This resort town sits within Banff National Park. You can really immerse yourself in nature here, and explore the untouched wilderness with outdoor adventures galore. Watch out for the wildlife - residents here include elk and grizzly bears.

Kamloops

Kamloops occupies a particularly scenic location at the meeting point of the North and South Thompson rivers. There are numerous hiking trails to enjoy both within Sun Peaks Resort and up to the clay spires which rise above Kamloops Lake, as well as a mountain biking park. The wildlife park to the east of town is home to Canada's famous bears and cougars.

Vancouver

More than just a pretty face, the mountain-rimmed city of Vancouver is an epicurean enclave with a growing crop of microbreweries and Insta-worthy neighbourhoods, from uber-cool Gastown to hipster Main Street; soak up these urban sights in a city framed by incredible natural scenery.

Vancouver to Jasper itinerary: Vancouver - Kamloops - Jasper - Banff

Jasper (instead of Calgary)

This alpine town is set in Canada's Alberta province, surrounded by the peaks of the Rockies. Opt to jump on the SkyTram to ascend to the summit of Whistlers Mountains, or head to the Yellowhead Museum and Archies for exhibits that explain the region's history in fur trade, railway engineering and exploring.

You can choose to include three explorative inclusions with this escape, helping you to really make the most of your time here: entrance to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park; admission to the Jasper SkyTram; and a Banff Gondola ride.
