A seven-night journey across the Baltic countries, taking in iconic architecture and natural beauty - includes breakfast, all travel, and a multitude of sightseeing tours

Days 1-2: Vilnius, Lithuania

Your first stop on your Baltic adventure is Lithuania’s vibrant capital, Vilnius. A city with medieval roots, marvel at the wondrous clash of history, from the cobbled Old Town to the marvellous Baroque architecture. You’ll check in to Radisson Blu Lietuva for two nights, then spend the day exploring by yourself. On your second day, you’ll be guided on a morning sightseeing tour of the Old Town, which includes the Vilnius Cathedral and the Gates of Dawn. If this wasn’t enough, you have an optional excursion to Trakai in the afternoon, the medieval capital of Lithuania, and visit its castle (£35 per person). (Meals: breakfast)

Days 3-5: Riga, Latvia

After a sojourn to the iconic Hill of Crosses (one of the more religious sites in Lithuania), you’ll cross the Latvian border and visit the majestic Rundale Palace for a guided tour, before enjoying three nights in delightful Riga. A city of Gothic spires and splendid chocolate-box houses, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d stepped into a fairytale. Check in to Wellton Riverside and spend the evening ambling around the area. The next day, you’ll go on a walking tour and discover the architectural legacy left by generations before, including Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral and the Freedom Monument. Your final day in Riga can be spent exploring solo, or if you’d prefer, join an excursion to Gauja National Park and wonder at some of the natural beauty of the region (£44 per person). (Meals: breakfast)

Days 6-8: Tallinn, Estonia

Traversing along the Estonian highway, you’ll stop in the morning at Parnu, a resort town laden with gorgeous landscapes and forests. By afternoon, you’ll have reached Tallinn, your final stop of Baltic wonders. Spend your first evening here strolling down the cobbled streets to the seafront for endless breathtaking views. Rising in the morning, you’ll go on one last sightseeing tour, around the city walls and take in the capital’s best bits. Your afternoon could be filled with a visit to Kadriorg Park (£35 per person) or a medieval banquet at Maikrahv restaurant (£35 per person). Finally, after one more night’s sleep at Radisson Blu Olümpia, you’ll journey to the airport and head home. (Meals: breakfast)
