Day 1: UK to Hanoi

Landing in Hanoi, you’ll head to your hotel in Hanoi. The hotel sits just 200 metres from the famous Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay

You’ll be picked up from the hotel, and embark on a journey through the Red River Delta countryside towards Tuan Chai island - the starting point of your Halong Bay cruise. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese food on board, as you cruise through the Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Coconut Three Island and more.

In the afternoon, learn about harvesting pearls in the Tung Sau area, go kayaking, visit Ti Top Beach, and perhaps attended the cooking class back on the ship. Overnight on board. (Meals: full board)

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

Start your morning with Tai Chi on the sundeck, followed by a delicious breakfast. You’ll disembark for an excursion to Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest in the bay, then return to the ship for lunch as you cruise back towards Tuan Chau Wharf. Spend time exploring Hanoi at your own pace in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi. (Meals: breakfast, lunch)

Day 4: Hanoi - Hoi An

You’ll fly to Hoi An, staying overnight in this coastal city. (Meals: breakfast)

Days 5 - 7: Hoi An

Spend three further nights in Hoi An, where you can admire the melting pot of scents and scenery in this ancient city. Follow the silk road as your hotel is only a kilometre from the centre; this escape includes a voucher to experience the weaving process at the silk village first hand.

Bang Beach is also easily accessable from your hotel, so be sure to chill out on its picturesque shores. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: Hoi An - Ho Chi Minh City

Fly onto Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, and spend the evening tasting your way around the street food stalls and lauded restaurants at your own pace. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (Meals: breakfast)

Days 9 - 10: Ho Chi Minh City

Spend days at leisure exploring Ho Chi Minh City’s landmarks, such as the wartime Cu Chi Tunnels, Independence Palace and Notre-Dame Cathedral. If you’re looking for souvenirs and a real taste of local culture, Ben Thanh Market is the place to go. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City - Siem Reap

Enjoy your morning at leisure, before leaving Vietnam, bound for Cambodia. Overnight in Siem Reap. (Meals: breakfast)

Days 12 - 13: Siem Reap

Your Siem Reap hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the spectacular Angkor Wat; a series of ancient temples founded in the 12th century. Plan your own escapade to this world wonder, whether you choose to go for sunrise, or explore during the day. There are also many other magnificent temples in the area, including the tree-covered Ta Prohm and Bayon.

Day 14: Siem Reap - UK

Today, you’ll return to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
