Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrive in the sprawling city of Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the exciting birthplace of the Tango at your leisure. In the evening, opt to experience a traditional Argentinian tango show and dinner (£58 per person). (Meals: breakfast)

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Today, head on a city tour of Buenos Aires and discover the charming corners of Argentina’s capital, visiting La Boca, La Recoleta, San Telmo (the old town) and Puerto Madero. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Transfer to the airport after breakfast to catch your flight to Iguazú. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. If you have time, head out on a bike ride through the jungle, or simply relax in the beautiful natural setting. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 4: Buenos Aires - Iguazú Falls

Today, embark on a full-day tour of the Argentinian side of Iguazú Falls – one of the world’s natural wonders – taking the train to the ‘Devil’s Throat’ where a lookout area gives you the chance to watch the water gushing down an 80-metre sheer drop. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 5: Iguazú Falls

You’ll visit the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls today for a different perspective of the thundering waterfalls. Take a walk along the bridges and soak up the panoramic views of luscious exotic scenery while listening to the thundering roar of the water. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 6: Iguazú - Calafate

Transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate, in the unique region of Southern Patagonia. Then head to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 7: El Calafate

Journey to Perito Moreno, the most famous glacier in the world, and enjoy a guided tour of the Glacier National Park, with a visit to Argentina’s biggest freshwater lake, Lake Argentino. Return to El Calafate to spend the night. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 8: El Calafate

Spend your day at leisure in Calafate – soak up the local atmosphere, treat yourself to traditional cuisine, or indulge in a bit of shopping, all before taking an optional Glaciers Cruise, where you’ll visit Escuadra Bay and Condoreras Wall and navigate towards Perito Moreno (£134 per person). (Meals: breakfast)

Day 9: Calafate - Buenos Aires

Transfer back to the airport to catch your flight back Buenos Aires, where you'll have some time at leisure to explore the vibrant capital and spend the night. (Meals: breakfast)

Day 10: Buenos Aires - UK

You’ll spend the morning at leisure before transferring to the airport to catch your overnight flight back to the UK. (Meals: breakfast)

What is a deposit?

In short, you pay Secret Escapes a non-refundable deposit to secure your holiday, then you pay the holiday supplier the remaining balance of the holiday - as advertised - at a later date (before you travel).

We've added deposit-only sales to enable our members to get early-bird access to more amazing holidays, and because we know that planning and paying for a holiday can take time.
