The village of Elounda is just 500 metres away and the lively seaside town of Agios Nikolaos is just 10 kilometres from the Domes of Elounda, so you could hire a car and get out and explore. In between excursions, trips to the private beach and relaxing in the elevated pool, treat yourself in the spa. You might also want to visit the sunken city of Olounda, which you can see underwater by snorkelling or diving. There's also an aquarium, a water park and a golf course within 30 minutes of the resort.
To learn more about this unique area, guests can embark on a tour of the UNESCO islet of Spinalonga from the hotel's own pier.
