The Bay Hotel is a great vantage point to experience the Cornish coast and directly overlooks Fistral Beach, at the southern end, so you can just enjoy the view from your window - if you're too much of a coward to brave the cold.

Seaside strolls can be followed by relaxing in The Fistral Spa - which has nine treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Though you're in the midst of rural Cornwall, there's still nightlife to be had just around the corner, with Newquay's pubs and bars a 20-minute walk away.
